Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for a 29-day locum tenens assignment in New Jersey. This vital role begins on Sep 1, 2025, and entails day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. The locum will handle all orthopedic trauma surgery cases in the emergency department and will be on-call during nights and weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide immediate and effective medical care to orthopedic trauma patients in the emergency department
• Perform surgical procedures for trauma cases as required
• Be on-call for emergencies during nights and weekends
• Ensure all patient care provided is compliant with current medical protocols and regulations

Additional Information

• Must be Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with a subspecialty in Orthopedic Trauma
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, BTLS, PALS
• Valid New Jersey medical license required
• Proficiency in using Cerner EMR system
