We are actively seeking an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner for a dynamic locum tenens opportunity in California. This position, starting on Aug 11, 2025, involves a 60-day assignment, with shifts from Monday to Friday, full-time in the clinic, and includes weekend call responsibilities. The role primarily covers a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including sports medicine, total joints, trauma, fracture care, and non-operative spine issues.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Evaluate and manage patients with various orthopedic complaints across multiple settings.
  • Provide care in both clinical and surgical settings, assisting with elective surgeries primarily related to sports medicine and total joints.
  • Participate in trauma care, specifically related to sports-medicine injuries.
  • Support both pre and post-operative care and follow-up.
  • Assist in emergency on-call duties during weekends.

Additional Information
  • Required Board Certifications: Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in California.
  • Experience in sports medicine and rural health settings is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with the Cerner EMR system.
