Job Description

We are seeking an Orthopedics Physician Assistant for our client in Ohio, for a 24-day assignment beginning Apr 27, 2026. This role involves managing fractures, evaluating acute and chronic pain for orthopedic and sports medicine injuries, and performing various injections. The schedule typically includes Tuesday and Thursday shifts, with a potential Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a focused and impactful opportunity in a clinic setting.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform fracture evaluation and management
  • Evaluate acute and chronic pain associated with orthopedic and sports medicine injuries and conditions
  • Conduct large and small joint injections and aspirations
  • Manage medication prescriptions
  • See new and established non-emergent acute fracture care patients
  • Administer cortisone joint injections and ViscoSupplementation injections
  • Provide acute/chronic pain Orthopedic/Sports Medicine evaluations, excluding spine-related issues


Additional Information

  • Board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery is required
  • Ohio license required prior to start
  • DEA required
  • EMR: Epic
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required
  • CAQSM certification preferred
  • Shifts are typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
  • Anticipate seeing 25-30 patients per day
  • Patient population ranges from 13 to 90+ years old
