Our client in Texas is actively seeking a dedicated Pain Management Physician for a 48-day assignment commencing Apr 20, 2026. This vital role involves a weekly commitment to review and sign off on Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant charts, with an average of 20-25 charts per week, primarily focusing on outpatient pain management and a diverse range of musculoskeletal cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct weekly review and sign-off on charts for 1 Nurse Practitioner and 1 Physician Assistant, averaging 20-25 charts per week.
  • Collaborate on outpatient pain management chart sign-offs.
  • Evaluate a broad range of musculoskeletal (MSK) cases.
  • Review cases including trauma/orthopedic fractures such as acetabular fractures in the elderly, proximal humerus fractures, humeral shaft fractures, intra-articular calcaneus fractures, and midshaft clavicle fractures.
  • Address joint and soft tissue injuries like rotator cuff tears, Achilles tendonitis, ligament sprains (e.g., ACL), and dislocations.
  • Manage chronic and degenerative conditions including osteoarthritis (hip, knee), rheumatoid arthritis, and spinal disc disorders (sciatica).
  • Oversee common cases such as joint tears and segmental issues, and more severe cases like spinal stenosis.
