We are seeking a Pathologist for a 70-day locum tenens assignment starting Aug 4, 2025, in Delaware. This role involves Monday to Friday day shifts, from 8:30am to 4:30pm, plus weeknight and weekend call responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be ready to handle various duties associated with both anatomic and clinical pathology.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze specimens to diagnose various diseases
  • Provide consultation to other physicians in the interpretation of test results
  • Supervise and direct laboratory technicians and assistants
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of clinical data
  • Participate in research activities related to pathology
  • Maintain up-to-date records of findings and test results
  • Comply with all clinical, legal, and ethical standards pertaining to pathology

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology
  • Required to hold a valid Delaware medical license
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR systems is necessary
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills are essential
  • Must possess excellent communication skills for effective patient and staff interactions
