We are seeking a Pathologist for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia, starting Apr 6, 2026. This opportunity is hospital-based and features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a schedule that typically runs from 8 am to 5 pm and often ends early. The assignment includes multiple blocks throughout the year.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and diagnose hospital-based anatomic pathology specimens, including cytology and surgical samples
  • Review approximately 10 non-GYN blocks per day (2-3 cases) and 90 surgical blocks per day (35-40 cases)
  • Interpret specimens from both a private laboratory and hospital settings
  • Collaborate with physician assistants who perform grossing
  • No autopsy or bone marrow procedures/interpretation required for this locum tenens role


Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Georgia medical license
  • Board certification in Pathology - Anatomic required
