Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform all grossing and function as the sole pathologist on site
  • Sign out bone marrow biopsies, general surgical pathology, and cytology cases
  • Interpret peripheral blood smears and conduct crystal examinations
  • Review clinic biopsies from general surgery, urology, and gynecology
  • Utilize Meditech and Softpath EMR systems for documentation and workflow

Additional Information
  • Must be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology
  • Active Illinois medical license required
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
  • Proficiency with Meditech EHR and Softpath EMR
