We are seeking a Pathologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, beginning as early as Jan 12, 2026. This opportunity features a Monday through Friday schedule, typically 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, two weeks per month. The role involves participation in multiple tumor boards, grossing duties, frozen section work, and offsite coverage for various procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Participate in multiple tumor boards, including breast, general, lung, and neuro
  • Perform grossing duties with some exceptions
  • Conduct frozen section procedures (most cutting performed by PAs)
  • Oversee several EBUS procedures each week
  • Provide offsite coverage for procedures at a smaller site 40 miles from the main campus
  • Exclude bone marrow procedures, which are sent to another location
