Job Description

We are seeking a Pathologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting on Mar 2, 2026. This opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 8am to 5pm for two weeks each month. The position involves a variety of tumor board cases and hands-on grossing duties within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Participate in multiple tumor boards, including breast, general, lung, and neuro
  • Oversee and perform grossing of surgical specimens (some exceptions apply)
  • Handle several EBUS procedures per week
  • Perform and interpret frozen sections, with most cutting done by PAs
  • Provide offsite coverage for procedures at a secondary location
