Locum Tenens Physician - Pathologist Needed in NY

Job Description

We are seeking a Pathology Physician for a 60-day assignment in New York, starting Jun 15, 2026. The schedule will involve shifts from 8 am to 6 pm, focusing on the diagnostic evaluation of surgical pathology specimens, frozen sections, conferences/tumor board, and signing out autopsies. Responsibilities also include reviewing and signing out surgical pathology and cytopathology cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnostic evaluation of surgical pathology specimens, frozen sections, conferences/tumor board and sign out of autopsies.
• Review and sign out surgical pathology biopsies, excision, and resection cases.
• Review and sign out cytopathology cases.
• Prioritize malignant cases and submit all first-time malignant cases for daily intradepartmental consensus conference for peer review and concordance.
