We are seeking a board-certified Pathologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Texas starting Mar 2, 2026. This opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, with on-call requirements after hours, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both anatomic and clinical pathology and demonstrate proficiency across a broad range of subspecialties.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations in surgical pathology, GI pathology, GU pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, and hematopathology
  • Conduct and interpret bone marrow aspiration and biopsy procedures
  • Evaluate pediatric tumor pathology cases
  • Interpret cytology specimens including GYN and non-GYN cases
  • Perform fine needle aspirations (FNAs)
  • Conduct both non-forensic and forensic autopsies
  • Gross and cut frozen sections for intraoperative consultations
  • Oversee laboratory operations in hematology, microbiology, chemistry, serology, and blood bank

Additional Information
  • Board certification required in Pathology - Anatomic and Pathology - Clinical
  • Must hold a current Texas medical license
  • Boarded in pathology is required
  • Approximately 20 days anticipated for credentialing
