Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pathologist for a 35-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity starts on Nov 17, 2025, and offers weekday day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with no call or weekend coverage. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in general surgical pathology and cytology, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively with staff and another pathologist.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform general surgical pathology and cytology case evaluations
  • Review, interpret, and report diagnostic findings
  • Collaborate with staff and another pathologist to ensure quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
  • Uphold all clinical and laboratory standards

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active West Virginia medical license
  • Board certification in Clinical Pathology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
