Job Description

Our client in Arkansas is seeking a skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a 166-day assignment beginning May 4, 2026. This role involves comprehensive care for all pediatric subspecialty cases, including ENT, Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, GI, Dental, Plastic/Burn dressing changes, Neurosurgery, and NORA procedures such as MRI, IR, and CT. The schedule is typically 7a-3p, focusing on both ambulatory and inpatient procedures, with a small percentage of NICU/PICU cases, as well as all cardiac and general pediatric cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia for all pediatric subspecialty cases including ENT, Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, GI, Dental, Plastic/Burn dressing changes, and Neurosurgery.
  • Manage anesthesia for NORA procedures (MRI, IR, CT).
  • Handle a mix of ambulatory/outpatient procedures (approximately ninety-five percent), planned admission post-op or in-patients (two to three percent), and NICU/PICU cases (one to two percent).
  • Focus on Neonatology cases.
  • Oversee all cardiac pediatric cases in addition to general pediatric cases.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology is required.
  • The EMR system utilized is Epic.
