Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland starting Nov 26, 2025. This opportunity involves 24-hour call coverage supporting pediatric cardiac catheterization services over the holiday period, with shifts running from 7am to 7am. Additional coverage dates may be available.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency call coverage for pediatric interventional cardiology cases
  • Support pediatric cardiac catheterization service
  • Respond to emergencies requiring procedural intervention as needed
  • Work collaboratively in the Cath Lab alongside a dedicated physician assistant, registered nurses, and cardiovascular technologists
  • Oversee patient care for step-down beds and pediatric cardiac intensive care unit (PCICU) beds


Additional Information

  • Must hold a valid Maryland medical license
  • Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Experience in pediatric interventional cardiology strongly preferred
  • Locum will primarily support pediatric patients
