Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Needed in PA

Job Description

We are actively seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day assignment in Pennsylvania, commencing on Aug 1, 2026. This dynamic role involves 12-hour shifts, either AM or PM, within a specialized Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for critical patient care, managing 4-8 patients, and performing procedures such as arterial and central venous line placement, and endotracheal intubation.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Experience with arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement
• Endotracheal intubation
• Lumbar punctures
• Provide care in a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
• Manage a patient load of 4-8 per Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
• Work collaboratively with 4 APPs during day shifts and 3 APPs during night shifts
