We are inviting a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Texas, beginning Oct 6, 2025. The role involves 10-14, 13-hour shifts per month, covering a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This position may extend past the initial period, with potential part-time opportunities available.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations specific to age and diagnosis, including psychological assessments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on synthesized data and evidence, including the interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic results.
• Demonstrate proficiency in technical and procedural skills relevant to the pediatric critical care specialty.
• Provide management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients and their families on current care and preventive health measures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and apply evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative research projects and protocols related to pediatric critical care.
