Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct and document comprehensive physical examinations based on age and diagnosis, including psychological assessments.
Develop and evaluate patient care plans by synthesizing data and utilizing evidence, with authority to order and interpret diagnostic studies.
Demonstrate proficiency in procedural skills relevant to pediatric critical care.
Manage, refer, counsel, and educate patients and their families on current and preventive healthcare.
Engage in quality initiatives, workshops, and research projects to enhance clinical practices and outcomes.
Maintain effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care delivery.

Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)
EMR System Used: Epic
Must possess relevant certifications including BLS, NRP, and PALS
Licensure as a PA in Texas is mandatory
