Responsibilities and Duties
Provide pediatric cardiology care, including post-operative management for cardiothoracic cases
Cover 1.5 FTE in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
Perform advanced procedures such as arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture, and needle thoracentesis
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document care and manage patient records using Epic EMR
Additional Information
Required board certifications: Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Minimum one year of pediatric cardiology experience required; post-operative cardiothoracic experience preferred
Texas state license required
