We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Critical Care Physician for an 18-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Ohio, with coverage dates in August (1-10) and September (15-22), 2025. This opportunity requires in-house night coverage from 5:30 PM to 8:00 AM on weekdays and 24-hour shifts on weekends. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing burn and craniofacial post-surgery critical care patients, performing various procedures, and providing comprehensive critical care management. This position offers the chance to work in a hospital setting using Cerner EHR, with a possibility for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Manage burn and craniofacial post-surgery critical care patients
• Perform essential procedures including endotracheal and nasotracheal intubation
• Manage non-invasive ventilation (BiPap, CPAP) and advanced ventilator settings
• Conduct rounds and manage pre- and post-surgery critical care patients
• Provide comprehensive care for burn and craniofacial surgery patients
• Utilize Cerner EHR for patient documentation and care management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the critical care unit
• Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain professional standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Adapt to varying patient acuity levels and potential increases in patient volume
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Ohio
• Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine required
• Experience in burn and craniofacial post-surgery care preferred
• Proficiency in critical care procedures and ventilator management essential
