Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in Rhode Island starting Jan 26, 2026, for 72 days. The assignment begins with two days per week and increases to four days per week, with shifts Monday through Wednesday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. You will work alongside Dr. Drennon, who prefers to see patients under 8 years old.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care for patients, primarily above the age of 8
  • Work collaboratively with Dr. Drennon, who treats patients under 8 years old
  • Perform dental examinations, preventive care, and treatments for children and adolescents
  • Implement and follow treatment plans tailored to pediatric patients
  • Ensure detailed documentation using Eaglesoft EMR system
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant health and safety protocols

Additional Information
  • Rhode Island dental license required
  • Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric dental experience preferred
  • Experience with Eaglesoft EMR system is an asset
