Barton is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 126-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 1, 2026. This role involves rounding with out-of-house 24-hour call coverage and a schedule of 5 to 14 shifts per month. Candidates must have delivery room experience, be NRP certified, and hold board certification in Pediatrics.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform daily patient rounding as scheduled

  • Manage pediatric patients, including delivery room care
  • Place emergency umbilical lines when required
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care
  • Document clinical activities using Epic EMR

Additional Information

  • California medical license required
  • Board certification in Pediatrics required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
  • Delivery room experience is essential
