Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for an engaging 60-day assignment in Florida, commencing Jun 1, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts, spanning from 7AM-7AM, focused on the daily rounds and medical management of pediatric patients. The successful candidate will provide acute inpatient care for a range of conditions and perform critical procedures, exclusively with pediatric patients, excluding newborn or NICU coverage.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Daily rounds and medical management of pediatric patients
  • Provide 24-hour shifts, both restricted and unrestricted, from 7AM-7AM
  • Care for strictly pediatric patients, with no newborn or NICU coverage
  • Manage acute inpatient care, focusing on conditions like asthma, pneumonia, bronchiolitis, dehydration, and infections
  • Perform critical procedures, including lumbar punctures, bag-mask ventilation, bladder catheterization, and abscess drainage
