The assignment term is 3 weeks, with a primary focus on supporting the Pediatric Director by handling cases including c-section deliveries and urgent pediatric conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide immediate medical care for emergency c-sections
  • Manage pediatric illnesses, including UTI, dehydration, asthma, and respiratory issues
  • Assist with newborn care post c-section, including necessary procedures like incubation
  • Respond to emergencies within 20 minutes and manage non-emergencies within 40-45 minutes
  • Maintain readiness for an average of 1-2 emergency deliveries per week and regular births every three days

Additional Information
  • Required experience: 3+ years in c-section deliveries or treating newborns in emergencies
  • Must hold a valid medical license in Mississippi
