We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. Starting Mar 9, 2026, this opportunity involves 24-hour ED call shifts, making rounds on the floor, and providing care in a unit. The schedule consists of 7-10 shifts per month.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour emergency department call coverage

  • Oversee care for a unit, including managing overflow from other units
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care


Additional Information

  • Must have active North Carolina medical license
  • Board certification required in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
  • Experience in pediatric inpatient and emergency care preferred
