Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 3-day locum tenens assignment in New Hampshire starting Jan 2, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call coverage, primarily managing pediatric patients in the emergency room and nursery. The ideal candidate will be board certified or truly board eligible in Pediatrics and comfortable handling both ER and nursery pediatric cases. Proficiency with Cerner EMR is required for this assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide pediatric patient care coverage in the emergency room and nursery
  • Manage acute pediatric cases and coordinate appropriate interventions
  • Respond to pediatric emergencies and perform necessary resuscitation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and order entry

Additional Information
  • Active New Hampshire medical license required
  • Board certification in Pediatrics preferred; truly board eligible considered
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Experience with pediatric emergencies and nursery care preferred
