We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 13-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Mar 25, 2026. This role involves 24-hour out of house call coverage with AM rounding, primarily focused on newborn nursery care and attendance at C-section deliveries. The assignment offers an opportunity to provide specialized inpatient pediatric care in a well-supported environment with OB and nursing support.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide pager call coverage for pediatric inpatient services
  • Perform daily nursery rounding for newborns (approximately 6-8 per month)
  • Attend C-section deliveries on site (approximately 1-3 per month)
  • Be available for very rare emergency department consults
  • Provide inpatient rounding as needed (rare occurrence)

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active New York medical license
  • Board certification in Pediatrics required
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Experience in pediatric hospital call coverage is essential
  • No schedule flexibility; start date must be strictly followed
