Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Jan 1, 2026. This opportunity involves 24-hour shifts with rounding plus offsite call, in collaboration with a pediatric care team. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of post-residency experience and recent clinical practice within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, including timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients
  • Collaborate closely with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects to enhance patient outcomes and best practices
  • Perform circumcisions as required

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine required
  • Active Ohio license or IMLC compact eligibility preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience required
  • Must have recent clinical experience within the past 12 months
  • Completion of Prescreen Questionnaire required
