Locum Tenens Physician - Pediatric Nephrologist Needed in PA

Job Description

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Pediatric Nephrology for an exciting 90-day assignment in PA, starting Jun 12, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am-4:30pm, focusing on essential procedures like Hemodialysis, EEG Reads, and Intubation, alongside managing pediatric nephrology cases, outpatient clinic duties, and inpatient rounds and consults.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform required procedures including Hemodialysis, EEG Reads at Reading Hospital, and Intubation (Newborn and Pediatrics)
• Execute preferred procedures such as Percutaneous Renal Biopsy, Peritoneal Dialysis (acute/chronic), and Needle biopsy of the kidney
• Manage and treat conditions including Bartter's Syndrome, Fabry Disease, Fanconi Syndrome, Hemolytic-uremic Syndrome, Hepatorenal Syndrome, and Renal Transplant
• See a minimum of 5 outpatients daily at the clinic
• Conduct inpatient rounds and consultations
• Manage diverse pediatric nephrology cases, encompassing various dialysis procedures and specialty conditions
