Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 40-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role involves weekday day shifts, Monday through Friday, providing care exclusively to pediatric leukemia and lymphoma patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric leukemia/lymphoma and be comfortable working with a service of approximately 20 patients. Familiarity with Epic for electronic medical records is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide specialized care to pediatric patients with leukemia and lymphoma
  • Manage a service of approximately 20 patients
  • Coordinate and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document all patient encounters and care plans using Epic EMR
  • Adhere to all relevant clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
  • Must have current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Georgia
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) required
  • Experience with pediatric leukemia/lymphoma is mandatory
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
