Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Oncology Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Georgia. This 40-day opportunity starts Jan 5, 2026, and features day shifts, Monday through Friday, caring exclusively for pediatric leukemia and lymphoma patients. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in pediatric leukemia/lymphoma care and be comfortable working with approximately 20 patients on service.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide direct care to pediatric patients with leukemia and lymphoma
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 20 patients on service
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and monitor patient progress
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document all patient encounters and care activities using Epic EMR

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Georgia
  • Pediatric leukemia/lymphoma experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) required
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR
