We are seeking a Pediatric Hematology Physician Assistant for a 100-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia starting Apr 6, 2026. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule, 7:45am to 4:30/5:00pm, providing care for 6 to 8 patients in a pediatric hematology unit.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide inpatient coverage for 6 to 8 pediatric hematology patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with sickle cell disease
  • Document patient encounters and treatment plans
  • Participate in daily rounding and care planning
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and protocols

Additional Information
  • Current GA license required
  • Board certification in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Experience working with sickle cell patients preferred
