We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Orthopedic Physician Assistant for a 32-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jan 21, 2026. This role offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with four 10-hour shifts per week and no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities. The assignment focuses on providing specialized orthopedic care to pediatric patients in a collaborative clinical setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform physical examinations on pediatric patients with orthopedic conditions
  • Diagnose and manage a range of pediatric orthopedic cases
  • Interpret imaging studies such as X-rays and MRIs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Administer injections and perform orthopedic procedures, including wound care and cast care
  • Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and rehabilitation plans

Additional Information
  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric orthopedic experience required
  • Must hold current PA license
  • Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
