Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Orthopedic Physician Assistant for a 32-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. Starting Jan 8, 2026, this role offers a 4 x 10-hour day shift schedule with a flexible day off each week and no night, weekend, holiday, or call requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of pediatric orthopedic experience and be comfortable working independently in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform physical exams and diagnose orthopedic conditions in pediatric patients
  • Interpret imaging studies such as X-rays and MRIs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Administer injections and perform procedures, including wound care and cast care
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and rehabilitation strategies

Additional Information
  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric orthopedic experience required
  • Active PA license required
  • Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Will not consider unlicensed candidates
