Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Urologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Louisiana, starting Feb 2, 2026. This full-time locum-to-perm role features Monday through Friday day shifts, with dedicated administrative blocks and scheduled operating room time.

  • Schedule: Clinic Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; 4-hour admin block two days per week (flexible); OR scheduled 4-hour blocks, 1-2 days per week; low volume ER call + consults, Trauma


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide inpatient clinic and surgical pediatric urology care
  • Conduct outpatient clinic visits for pediatric urology patients
  • Perform 4-6 pediatric urologic procedures per week
  • Participate in rotation for service and post-operative care
  • Take low volume ER call and consults at a Trauma level II facility
  • Potentially assist with adult urology call as assigned
  • Complete administrative duties during designated admin blocks


Additional Information

  • Active Louisiana medical license required
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Urology required
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required
  • Background or experience with adult urology trauma at a level II trauma center preferred
  • Flexible scheduling for administrative time
