Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Sep 29, 2025, for 55 days. This role offers a Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm schedule, focusing on well child exams in a community health setting. Ideal candidates have at least three years post-residency experience, prior FQHC or community health system experience, and current BLS and PALS certifications. Proficiency with Cerner EMR is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
  • Adhere to all clinical, regulatory, and safety requirements

Additional Information
  • Must have active California license
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Pediatrics required
  • Minimum of three years post-residency experience preferred
  • Prior experience in FQHC or community health systems strongly preferred
