Responsibilities and Duties
Provide primary care services to pediatric patients in a community health setting
Deliver care to a diverse patient base, with approximately 75% Spanish-speaking patients (interpreters and bilingual MAs available)
Manage a high percentage of Medical/Medicaid patients
Collaborate with care teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Utilize active California DEA and furnishing license for prescribing needs
Adhere to organizational protocols and documentation standards
Additional Information
Locum experience required
Experience in FQHC, rural health, or IHS preferred
Recent experience in a pediatric setting is mandatory
Must possess current California licensure, DEA, and furnishing license
Board certifications required: Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (PPCNP-BC)
Assignment dates may be dependent on approved time off and Regional Medical Director approval
