Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in California starting Feb 17, 2026. This 60-day opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, serving a diverse pediatric population in a community-focused clinic setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide primary care to pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Deliver care to a patient base that is approximately 75 percent Spanish speaking, with translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants available
  • Manage a patient population that is predominantly covered by Medical/Medicaid
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
  • Adhere to all clinic policies and professional standards

Additional Information
  • Locum experience is required
  • Experience in FQHC, rural health, or IHS settings preferred
  • Recent experience must be in a pediatric setting
  • Must have an active California Nurse Practitioner license, DEA, and furnishing license
  • Required board certifications: Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (PPCNP-BC)
