Responsibilities and Duties
Provide primary care to pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting
Deliver care to a patient base that is approximately 75 percent Spanish speaking, with translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants available
Manage a patient population that is predominantly covered by Medical/Medicaid
Collaborate with allied health professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
Adhere to all clinic policies and professional standards
Additional Information
Locum experience is required
Experience in FQHC, rural health, or IHS settings preferred
Recent experience must be in a pediatric setting
Must have an active California Nurse Practitioner license, DEA, and furnishing license
Required board certifications: Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (PPCNP-BC)
