Job Description

Our client in MA is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment starting Mar 30, 2026. This role involves managing a high volume of patients, seeing 3+ per hour, across chronic and acute care, walk-ins, and essential newborn follow-ups. You will work 8-hour shifts, with the benefit of a full administrative day on Fridays that can be completed remotely, focusing on charting and patient follow-ups. True pediatric and newborn experience is essential for success in this busy environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a high volume of patients, seeing 3+ per hour.
  • Provide comprehensive care for chronic conditions, acute illnesses, and walk-in patients.
  • Conduct newborn follow-up appointments.
  • Perform wellness and well-child exams.
  • Administer vaccinations.
  • Manage patient medications.
  • Address behavioral health needs (experience a significant plus).
  • Address general pediatric needs including colds, coughs, flu, aches, and pains.
  • Handle high chronicity cases such as COPD, diabetes, and hypertension.
  • Utilize an administrative day for charting and patient care coordination.


Additional Information

  • Must possess true pediatric and newborn experience.
