Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatrics Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Feb 17, 2026. This role features day shifts, Monday through Friday, serving a diverse patient population with a high proportion of Spanish-speaking and Medicaid/Medical patients. Locum experience and recent work in a pediatric setting are required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver pediatric outpatient care in a community-based setting
  • Provide care to a patient population that is approximately 75% Spanish-speaking, supported by translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants
  • Manage cases where 78% of patients are covered by Medical/Medicaid
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and document care accurately
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards

Additional Information
  • Must have current California license, DEA, and furnishing license
  • Required board certifications: Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (PPCNP-BC)
  • Recent experience in a pediatric setting is required
  • FQHC, rural health, or Indian Health Service experience preferred
