Job Description

Our client in CA is seeking a dedicated Pediatrics Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment starting Mar 30, 2026. This role involves covering outpatient pediatrics, with daytime shifts from 8a-5p, managing a fluctuating patient volume. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care, handling sick visits, immunizations, and physicals, with support from MAs who room patients and assist with vaccines.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for a diverse patient population.
  • Manage sick visits, immunizations, cold, cough, flu, physicals, and new patient exams.
  • Conduct follow-up appointments, allocating 20-30 minutes for new patients and 10-20 minutes for established patients.
  • Work within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment, ensuring no patient is turned away.
  • Collaborate with Medical Assistants (MAs) who will handle patient rooming and vaccine administration.
