Job Description
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician with a focus on pediatric care for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, and spans 32 days, offering a part-time schedule with day shifts, Monday through Friday. The physician will join an outpatient intergenerational health center, providing primary care to patients from infancy through age 18. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide outpatient pediatric care in a family practice setting
- Oversee patient coverage for 20-25 cases per eight-hour shift
- Manage cases for patients from birth through 18 years of age, including infants and newborns
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across primary care, dental, and dermatology services
- Utilize Athenahealth EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
Additional Information
- Active California medical license required
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of physician experience preferred
