Job Description

Our client in California is actively seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for an exciting 60-day assignment beginning Mar 30, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including scheduled appointments and walk-ins, during 8a-5p shifts in a supportive FQHC environment. The Physician will cover a small town clinic, managing a fluctuating patient volume and focusing on patient-centered care without turning anyone away.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cover outpatient pediatrics in a small town with fluctuating patient volume.
  • Ensure all patients receive care within an FQHC setting.
  • Collaborate with Medical Assistants who room all patients and administer vaccines.
  • Provide a full scope of outpatient pediatric services, including sick visits, immunizations, cold, cough, flu, physicals, new patient exams, and follow-ups.
  • Manage a mix of mainly scheduled patients and walk-ins as the schedule permits.
  • Allocate 20-30 minutes for new patients and 10-20 minutes for established patients, depending on the reason for visit.
