Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Pediatrician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Connecticut starting Jan 5, 2026. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts and requires experience providing care for pediatric patients from newborn through age 18.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients from birth through 18 years of age
  • Conduct annual visits, sports physicals, and newborn follow-up care
  • Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, weight management, hypertension, asthma, hyperthyroid/hypothyroid, anxiety, and depression
  • Treat acute care cases including colds, cough, flu, ear infections, urinary tract infections, skin rashes, minor injuries, and sprains
  • Document all patient interactions using Nextgen EMR


Additional Information

  • At least 2 years of recent experience with pediatric patients is required
  • Current board certification in either Pediatrics or Family Medicine is mandatory
  • Active CT state medical license, Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
