Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician for a 100-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia, beginning Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with weekday shifts from 11am to 9pm and weekend shifts from 9am to 7pm, working across multiple urgent care centers. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in pediatric urgent care or emergency medicine and be comfortable providing high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide acute care for pediatric patients in an urgent care setting
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of pediatric emergencies
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment for common pediatric urgent care and emergency conditions
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
  • Must have an active Georgia medical license
  • Required board certifications: Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics
  • Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
  • Recent pediatric urgent care or emergency medicine experience is required
  • Patient age group: Pediatrics
