The physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive pediatric care, including newborn care, inpatient care, and stabilization for transport/transfer of patients. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive pediatric care for inpatients and newborns
• Perform newborn examinations and provide ongoing care
• Manage pediatric inpatient cases
• Stabilize pediatric patients for transport or transfer when necessary
• Diagnose and treat various pediatric conditions
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
• Provide preventative care and patient/family education
• Take call and respond to inpatient needs
• Admit pediatric patients as needed
• Conduct rounds in the nursery
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
