Job Description

We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Pediatrician for a 240-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This outpatient opportunity begins Mar 16, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule comprised of five 8-hour shifts. Experience serving rural communities or Indian health populations is considered a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a range of pediatric conditions and illnesses
  • Conduct routine physical exams and well-child visits
  • Administer immunizations and monitor developmental milestones
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to deliver coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines

Additional Information
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics required
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and DEA certification required
  • Experience working with rural or Indian health populations is valued
