We are seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Pediatrician for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Oct 11, 2025. This opportunity involves a mix of morning and full-day shifts, with a schedule focused mainly on urgent and sick visits, and occasional newborn care for recently discharged patients.

  • October: 10/11 9am-12pm; 10/14 9am-5pm; 10/17 9am-2pm; 10/18 9am-12pm
  • November: 11/1, 11/8, 11/9, 11/15, 11/16, 11/29, 11/30 (all 9am-12pm)
  • December: 12/5 9am-5pm; 12/6, 12/7, 12/13, 12/14, 12/28 (all 9am-12pm); 12/24, 12/27 9am-5pm; 12/26 9am-3pm

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide care primarily for urgent and sick pediatric visits
  • Evaluate and manage newborns recently discharged from the hospital when needed
  • Deliver care with a warm and compassionate approach
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters
  • Collaborate with staff to support continuity and quality of pediatric care

Additional Information
  • Must have a valid NY medical license
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Pediatrics (Family Medicine boards not accepted)
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification required
  • Pediatric training required
