Job Description

Our client in New York is actively seeking a board-certified Pediatrician for a 28-day assignment beginning Apr 13, 2026. This role involves four days of outpatient office coverage per week from 8am to 5pm, managing 18+ patients daily, supplemented by two weeknights of phone call and a 1:3 weekend call schedule. The Pediatrician will attend deliveries and c-sections, perform intubations, line placements, manage vents for stabilization in a nursery, and perform circumcisions, providing comprehensive care for pediatric patients.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide outpatient pediatric care four days per week, 8am-5pm, seeing 18+ patients daily.
  • Conduct routine physical exams, health screenings, sick visits, immunizations, flu shots, minor sutures, and set broken bones.
  • Manage two weeknights of phone call per week.
  • Participate in a 1:3 weekend call schedule (AM Friday - AM Monday).
  • Attend deliveries and c-sections.
  • Perform circumcisions (highly preferred).
  • Intubate, place lines, and manage vents until sick babies are stable for transfer from the nursery.
  • Provide Peds ED consults; patients under 12 are transferred to a neighboring hospital.
