We are seeking a board-certified Pediatrician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Dec 15, 2025. This unique hybrid opportunity features clinic-based pediatric care plus limited inpatient and newborn nursery responsibilities, with a Monday-Friday schedule and 1:3 inpatient call rotation.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide clinic-based pediatric care to patients from newborn through 17 years old
See 13–15 patients per day on call days and approximately 20 patients per day on non-call days
Conduct well-child checks, acute visits, and behavioral/ADHD management
Schedule 20- and 40-minute appointments as appropriate
Cover inpatient pediatric admissions (rare, typically older adolescents)
Manage newborn nursery census of 1–5 babies per day
Attend deliveries when indicated by OB/FBC staff or per high-risk criteria
Handle after-hours “Mommy Calls” (average 0–10 per night, higher in winter months)
Collaborate with OB, FBC, and hospital staff as needed
Additional Information
Must have completed at least 25 vaginal deliveries and 10 C-section assists within the past 24 months
Experience with both clinic and hospital settings preferred
Board certification in Pediatrics required
Oregon state medical license required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
Must be comfortable attending deliveries per OB high-risk criteria
