Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Periodontist for a locum tenens assignment in Florida, beginning Dec 8, 2025. This opportunity is for 4 months and offers a flexible two-days-per-month schedule, typically every other Monday from 8am to 5pm. Join a long-established periodontal practice utilizing leading implant systems and advanced imaging technology.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive periodontal care and treatment planning
  • Perform dental implant placements using Straumann, Zimmer Biomet (ZimVie), and BioNobel systems
  • Collaborate with the General Dentist and other dental staff to ensure continuity of patient care
  • Utilize CBC/CT imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
  • Adhere to best practices and standards in periodontology

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active Florida dental license
  • Board certification in Periodontology required
  • Experience with implant systems and advanced imaging preferred
